Who Are We?

We are Dvir Cohen and David Stern, team members from our military service who have been in reserve duty on various fronts since the start of the war. Between deployments, we’ve been working on this project out of a sense of mission—to protect the environment and improve daily life for everyone. Based on our personal experiences and challenges, we founded URent—a unique platform designed to connect businesses or individuals who want to share their equipment with those who need it.

How all started?
"I had a personal event and needed different types of equipment. I didn’t want to buy it because I had no space to store it, and I’d barely use it—it just felt like a waste of money. So I decided to rent. But searching for rental equipment was a nightmare—I couldn’t find a single nearby business with good reviews that had everything I needed. In the end, I had to contact dozens of places just to figure out what was available, and the experience was extremely frustrating. During my search, I realized that many people prefer to rent, but there was no single platform that centralized everything—offering verified supplier reviews and secure payments. And… congratulations!! That’s how URent was born."
