  1. Introduction
    1. Welcome to the U-Rent platform, which allows anyone to offer rental services or rent a variety of products conveniently, directly, safely, and affordably (hereinafter: the "Platform").
    2. These terms are protected by copyright and apply to the early version of the Platform and all related materials, including information and documentation (hereinafter: the "Pilot").
    3. We, Dvir Cohen and David Stern, founders of the U-Rent initiative (hereinafter: the "Initiative", "we"), are responsible for the development and operation of the Platform.
    4. These Terms of Use (hereinafter: the "Terms") constitute a binding agreement between you (hereinafter: "you", the "User") and the Initiative.
  2. Acceptance of Terms
    1. Acceptance of the Terms, participation in the Pilot, activation of the Platform, and usage indicate your agreement to these Terms.
    2. If you do not fully agree to these Terms, you are not permitted to use the Platform’s services or participate in the Pilot in any way.
  3. Pilot Purpose and Limitations
    1. By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge that the Platform does not enable actual rental services, as it is in its early experimental stage.
    2. The purpose of the Pilot is to gather data, learn from it, and conduct market research to assess the feasibility of creating a shared product rental platform.
    3. Continuous availability of the Platform’s services is not guaranteed during this period.
    4. We reserve the right to terminate the Pilot at any time, with or without prior notice.
  4. Eligibility
    1. The Platform and Pilot are not intended for minors under the age of 16.
    2. If you are over 16 but under 18, you must obtain parental consent to participate in the Pilot and/or use the Platform.
  5. Platform Usage
    1. To participate in the Pilot, you must create a personal user account via:
    • Registering with an existing Google account; or
    • Providing name, email, age, gender, and address manually.
    1. Your details will be used to assess the Platform, collect statistical data, and gather feedback.
    2. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection of data via Cookies and analytical tools for improving the Platform’s performance.
    3. Your account is personal and must not be transferred to third parties.
    4. Registered users may create advertisements that include:
    • Product name, description, photo, and daily rental price.
    1. Advertisements will not be visible to other users during the Pilot phase but will be available to the Initiative.
  6. User Obligations
    1. While using the Platform, you must comply with these Terms and applicable laws.
    2. Prohibited actions include:
    • Attempting to bypass security mechanisms.
    • Using the Platform to develop competing products.
    • Interfering with the Platform’s operations.
    • Posting false or misleading advertisements.
  7. Intellectual Property
    1. All rights to images you upload to the Platform remain yours; however, by publishing content, you grant the Initiative rights to use the information for research and analysis.
    2. The Initiative retains all intellectual property rights to the Platform, its content, and processing methods.
  8. Availability and Changes
    1. The Initiative strives to ensure Platform functionality but does not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free performance.
    2. The Initiative reserves the right to update, modify, or improve the Platform without prior notice.
    3. Changes to the Platform may cause temporary malfunctions.
  9. Termination
    1. The Initiative may terminate the Pilot or user access at any time, temporarily or permanently, without prior notice.
    2. Users are required to cease participation in the Pilot and Platform usage upon termination.
